Only those with high IQ can spot mysterious woman's face within 9 seconds

Not everyone can spot the mysterious-looking woman in this baffling optical illusion within the strict time limit.

Optical illusions can be seriously confusing - especially when you can see something clearly, when others can't. According to Associate Professor Paul E Dux, from the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland, the reason is because some people have better "spacial attention" than others.

But apparently, sometimes you can also get lucky, and your eyes will fall on what you're supposed to see immediately. So how good is your spacial attention? In this black and white drawing by American Puzzle Cards, shared by JagranJosh, you'll see a man, who looks like he's dressed up like Peter Pan, looking for something in the woods.

The sketch-style drawing looks like something taken straight out of an old children's book - but there's more to it than meets the eye. There's a mysterious shape of a woman hidden within the drawing, making it an optical illusion.

But it's not easy for most people to see, and according to the optical illusion pros, you have really high IQ if you can spot the woman within nine seconds. The location of the woman's face isn't obvious, so when you're ready, try to clear your mind of everything else and focus on the drawing.

You'll need to rid your mind of any distractions in order to find the woman's face. So set the timer, and give it a go. Don't worry if you haven't found her after nine seconds, sometimes it can take longer.

And if you want to give up altogether, don't be too disheartened. Many people have been left stumped by the optical illusion, as they only see the man in the woods.

If you need a hint, move your gaze to the man again, in the centre of the illusion. You're looking for the upper body of a woman, who is staring up at the man.
