Inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's idyllic family holiday before Christmas
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have returned from a lowkey visit to an A-List holiday destination with their two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Sussexes reportedly made a private visit to Costa Rica last week and were said to have arrived on December 14 and left on December 21. Harry and Meghan jetted out to the celebrity hotspot destination to explore the culture and heritage according to local reports by CRHoy.
It's a spot favoured for its privacy so is an obvious favourite for dignitaries and A-listers alike. The Tico Times writes: "Apparently the couple spent much of their time relaxing at scenic Playa Carrillo and the nearby beaches of Guabacaste province, internationally renowned for their pristine sands and world class resorts."

The Whenever, Wherever singer was seen in the country in June this year, visiting a hotel in Escazú, a suburb of San José, with her two kids, Milan and Sasha. A woman who was dining at the hotel saw the family having dinner and noted that Shakira was "very kind" and posed for photos.
“We were very excited and were looking for her,” the woman said. “My daughter approached the table where they were, and Shakira was very kind; she put her on her lap and asked the youngest son if he could take their picture. She was extremely nice.”

Meghan and Harry were off on a mini-break in October too. They flew off on a private jet to enjoy a Caribbean holiday after attending a conference on climate change. They attended the summit in New York on October 10 then flew from New Jersey to Canouan in a Falcon 7X for a holiday the next day.
In a photo from their trip, the couple can be seen strolling along a street in Canouan - a tiny island in St Vincent and the Grenadines - after perusing a gourmet food shop in the Sandy Lane Yacht Club and Marina in Glossy Bay.
The couple have been urged to focus on other venturesIn the photo, mum-of-two Meghan, 42, wore a timeless Panama hat and an ivory, crochet maxi dress from Chloe which retails at £5,400. The French fashion house describes the dress as a “hand-crocheted design [is] made from an engineered patchwork of organic shapes knitted from wool and silk. The fluid, ankle-length silhouette lends a feminine allure."
Prince Harry, 39, was wearing a pair of navy shorts, a white shirt and flip flops. The photo was obtained by the Mail Online and an onlooker told the publication the couple were “affectionate”. They added, “they looked happy.
“As Harry walked out of the shop, he slightly bumped into one of the barrels [outside] and they both giggled and Meghan reached for his hand. They just looked very happy to be having a holiday together.”
