MAFS star Ella Morgan shares heartbreaking reason she won't have surgery again
Married At First Sight star Ella Morgan has revealed why she will never have surgery again- and its due to her taking synthetic oestrogen which causes a dangerous amount of scar tissue in her body.
In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, the 29 year old reality TV star, who has had two boob jobs, explained that if left untreated it could cause silicone to leak into her body which could lead to an infection. She said: "What people don't know is that when you're a trans woman and you take [synthetic] oestrogen there are risks when you have surgery of an increase in something called scar tissue."
She added: "What people don't know is that for people who take synthetic oestrogen, you are at a risk of an increase in getting scar tissue because your hormones are synthetic and your body doesn't produce natural oestrogen. With all my surgeries that I've had, I'm at risk of having to re-do things which obviously can cost more money."

You don't usually need to change them for up to 15 to 20 years and yes, anyone can get scar tissue with implants but a lot of the time it doesn't happen until 10 years after you've had them done."
She continued: "Mine happened three years after I had them. So then I decided right, I'm going to have to cut away all that scar tissue, have new implants put in because with an implant, if scar tissue builds itself around the implant, there is a risk of it popping. Obviously its like tissue, a form of tissue, that is getting harder, my breast is harder, and slightly bigger than the other one. It feels uncomfortable and its wrapped around the implant. And what happens is it can pop and rupture the implant which means you've got leaking silicone in my body. So obviously there is a risk of an infection."

Ella made history on the E4 dating show as she was the first transgender female. Following her traumatic ordeal, she made the decision to undergo another surgery to have a second boob job, but three years later the same thing happened again. The reality TV star has now had two breast augmentation in less than 10 years. She claims that at the time, no one realised that it was because she had been taking synthetic oestrogen
When asked if this now means she will not consider further surgery in a bid to avoid complications, she replied: "There are a few things that need correcting and I don't know if I really want to put myself through unnecessary surgery. I think I've got to a point where I'm like you know what...I was going to have my bum done but I've completely decided against it. I've got a nice figure I just need to accept it and I think I have now."
Since appearing on the the show, which saw her initially marry Nathanial Valentino and then form a connection with fellow participant JJ Slater after Nathanial quit the show, Ella has done her best to raise awareness for the transgender community. And now, on the back of Government guidance over encouraging teachers to not address children on their chosen pronouns and them having rights to tell parents if their child is identifying with a different pronoun to which they were born, Ella has decided to speak out.
Her fears surround how this could negatively impact a child's life and she knows only too well how it feels growing up as a transgender female. When asked if she had ever considered suicide on the back of struggling to cope with being a transgender female growing up, she candidly revealed that she had.
She continued: "Actually I did. Throughout my teenage years there were times that I did attempt that and when I was a young adult so kind of 16, 17, 18, there were a few times it happened. Luckily nothing happened, I'm here now and that's why I wanted to use my platform to help. My concern is that I was feeling that was my only option as a young adult. Imagine how I would have then felt as a child. I don't think i would make it and I don't think I would see any way out."
