H&M fans go wild for new ski jacket that has 'Balenciaga vibes'

H&M has just launched a brand new skiwear edit, called the Snow Collection, that is full of gorgeous jackets, goggles, trousers and more that have warmth and weather in mind - and fans of the brand are likening the quality and style of these garments, in particular its ThermoMove Down puffer ski jacket, to a rather high end designer - Balenciaga.

Announcing the new line on its Instagram, the brand - whose sportswear includes yoga, running, racket sports, watersports, hiking and now skiwear - shared a series of images which featured several pieces of its new collection - the DryMove™ Midlayer fleece top, ski goggles, water-repellent padded leg warmers, softshell ski trousers and ThermoMove™ Down puffer ski jacket - and captioned the post: "Introducing a new skiwear collection crafted with warming and weatherproof details. The @HM_Move Snow Collection is out now."

And it seems ski-faring shoppers are completely obsessed as soon after the new collection dropped, fans flooded the comments section of the announcement to share their thoughts, with many stating the skiwear - their metallic puffer jacket in particular - gave "Balenciaga vibes".

One wrote: "Wow Thermomove!", while another added: "This jacket is very nice and stylish."

Over on H&M's specialist activewear page, H&M Move, it added: "Conditions are golden for glowing-up the slopes. Don’t miss this puffer addition to our Women’s Snow Collection, out now!" to which fans couldn't stop complimenting the jacket.

"The puffer glam," stated one while another simply remarked: "This puffer" with a lightening bolt emoji next to it.

A third stated: "I need a ski outfit!!!"

While the jacket, being brand new, has no reviews yet, we're sure it'll be a real hit whether you're a ski-ing whizz or prefer the Apres Ski.

The puffer jacket in question comes in three different colours - bronze, red and black - and sizes XS to XL. Made from water-repellent functional fabric, the jacket has a down and feather filling to keep you cosy while you hit the slopes and the wind and waterproof jacket comes with a stand-up collar and anti-chafe chin guard. But that's not all - the short jacket, which features dropped shoulders and long sleeves, comes with zipped hand warmer pockets, a zipped sleeve pocket for easy access to your lift pass.

H&M isn't the only high street brand to have recently launched a new skiwear collection.
