With Christmas less than a week away and New Year's Eve on the horizon, you, like us, are probably on the hunt for a sparkly outfit that'll make you stand out and look phenomenal as you celebrate the start of a brand new year. And one co-ord - a top and skirt - from New Look has been declared as the "perfect" combination for the night - and what's even better is it has over 60% off, meaning the whole ensemble will cost you just over £30.

The Multicoloured Embellished Midaxi Skirt and matching crop top from the popular high street chain cost, respectively, £20 down from £49.99 and £11 down from £33.99 and with a black under layer, give you a gorgeous slihouette but, like all outfits should exude in the lead up to Christmas, with added sparkles.

The crop top, which is covered in black mesh and has rhinestones embellished on it, has a flattering square neckline, thin straps and a cropped hem, making it versatile to wear with high waisted trousers, shorts, skirts and more. The skirt is midaxi in length (meaning it'll come to your mid-shin) and, like the top, comes covered in sequins and is finished in a soft glittery fabric.

Sharing the look on Instagram, the brand captioned a picture of one of its supervisors, Katalina, in the ensemble looking sensational: "The perfect New Year's Eve look, ties with a bow."

And shoppers were quick to praise the outfit with one commenting: "STUNNING", while another said: "I want this for new year!."

It's not just on the shop's Instagram that fans are swooning over this co-ord but on the website too. Those who have purchased the skirt and top can't stop showing the outfit in praise.

One described the look as "beautiful" and added of the skirt: "Absolutely stunnin. Perfect for Christmas time or special occasion. Colour matches with most tops as its multicoloured and in the light its almost electric looking."

Another said: "The sparkles on this skirt are amazing - The picture does not do it justice!" although they added: "However, the satin underneath layer comes up small in comparison to the sparkle layer. I had to tailor the satin underskirt slightly but there was still plenty of room in the outer layer. The skirt is still gorgeous regardless!"

As for the top, it was described as "flattering" and "true to size". Another said it had a "Beautiful openback , high quality." And while some loved its cropped design and square neck, one customer said it was "very boxy".
