Taylor Swift's rumoured engagement is 'difficult moment' for her doting dad
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been putting their blossoming romance on full display, with speculation of an upcoming engagement rife.
The NFL star is reported to have asked Taylor's dad Scott Swift for his blessing as he prepares to propose. Amid the rumours, Taylor and Scott flew out to watch Travis' team the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The father-daughter duo were spotted wearing Chiefs sweatshirts and sharing a hug as they watched the Chiefs win 27-17. Body language expert Judi James believes Taylor was trying to reassure her dad she's "still his little girl" despite her new romance.

She's invited her dad to share the fun of watching her man and as he does she uses some intense bonding rituals to appear to silently ask her dad to share her affection and enthusiasm for Kelce.

"A daughter's engagement is often a difficult moment for a doting dad, who will be sharing his daughter with her future husband and Taylor's hugging, snuggling signals here could suggest she's keen to show her dad she's still his little girl despite the fact she's in love with Kelce." She also praised the fact Taylor is able to divide her time equally between her boyfriend, family and friends.
Judi told us: "Taylor's body language signals of equally-shared emotional dedication are a work of art. She manages to look totally dedicated, loyal and emotionally attentive to not just Kelce but also her celebrity girl posse; her Swiftie fans, and here her dad.

Judi's comments come as rumours of an engagement for Taylor and Travis heat up.
A source told Page Six: "Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring." Travis is even rumoured to be getting the engagement ring designed specially for Taylor.
A source spoke to Life & Style recently, with them also hinting that Travis could propose over the romantic festive period as they enjoy their first Christmas as a couple. They said: "There are whispers that he could use the opportunity to propose - that's what everyone, including Taylor, is hoping for!"
