Mike Spencer, Creative Director of Lifted Entertainment, who produces the show, previously said: “It has been rumoured now for a while but we are thrilled to finally confirm that we are making Love Island: All Stars early next year for ITV2 and ITVX. It's set to be a must watch series seeing some of your favourite Islanders from across the years heading back to the stunning South African villa to once again 'graft' as their search for love continues. I simply can't wait!”

A string of former Love Island stars have been tipped to take part in the upcoming series - with 28-year-old Liv Hawkins, who featured in the 2023 winter version of the show, and 25-year-old Georgia Steel, who was a contestant in the fourth season of the show in 2018, said to be taking part. Fan favourites Ovie Soko, 32, and Michael Griffiths, also 32, and who both starred in season five in 2019, are also expected to return.

Controversial contestant Mitch Taylor, 27, is also rumoured to be returning - having seen his own popularity plummet after he starred in the summer 2023 season of the show as he was accused of antisocial behaviour at a cosmetic company event weeks after being dumped from the villa. While Paige Thorne, 26, who endured a volatile relationship with Adam Collard, is also rumoured to be taking part.

He said earlier this month: "After 10 ratings busting seasons of Love Island on ITV2, we're delighted to be able to celebrate a decade of the number one dating show on television with the first ever series of Love Island: All Stars. Set in our luxurious South African Villa, I know the audience will welcome back some of the most iconic UK Islanders, as they set out in pursuit of love all over again in a brand new version of our worldwide hit."

While Martin Oxley, Head of Formats and Entertainment at GroupM Motion Entertainment commented: “Motion is proud of its long partnership with Love Island, and can think of no better way to celebrate this milestone alongside Lifted and ITV than going on a date with our most-loved and longed-for Islanders.”
