Tomas Soucek sends West Ham team-mates warning ahead of tough festive schedule
West Ham's Tomas Soucek has urged his team-mates to stay disciplined during their busy festive schedule.
The Hammers, have only lost one of their last eight matches after fending off Freiburg to qualify as Europa League group stage winners. But they are now preparing for a tough run of games in the lead-up to Christmas, starting with Wolves on Sunday.
Soucek said: "We will need to be disciplined and we need to make sure we're ready for the Wolves games. Having games every three days is difficult, but we have a really good team.
"We need to make sure we concentrate, work hard, and hopefully we can pick up the results that mean a very good Christmas. In general, our results recently have been really good.
"We know Fulham was a bad performance (a 5-0 defeat) but we're very happy we bounced back quickly with a good game and result against Freiburg. We now have three games between now and Christmas, all of which will be really hard matches."

Manager David Moyes is keen for his side to maintain their position in the league table and compete strongly against challenging opponents. Moyes shared: "We don't need to think too much about Europe now until March, so we're looking forward to our coming games. We want to stay close to the boys at the top end of the table and try to get in amongst them."
"We've got to go and do our business (against Wolves), try to keep our good home form going and try to win again." After Wolves, West Ham travel to Anfield for a huge clash against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
They then welcome Manchester United to the London Stadium two days before Christmas, while a trip to Arsenal still awaits before the end of the year.
