The Premier League supercomputer is tipping Liverpool to beat Manchester United when Jurgen Klopp and Erik ten Hag go head-to-head in a pivotal clash at Anfield.

Liverpool currently sit top of the Premier League table having picked up 37 points from their 16 matches. They have not lost since September - a 2-1 defeat at Tottenham - and go into the game having won their last three. That includes last weekend's dramatic comeback win over Crystal Palace.

As for United, they were humiliated by Bournemouth at Old Trafford last Saturday and sit in sixth, 10 points behind leaders Liverpool. Before the 3-0 defeat against the Cherries, the Red Devils had won four of their previous five in the Premier League, which had closed the gap to the top four places.

Ahead of Sunday's 4:30pm encounter on Merseyside, BetVictor have backed Liverpool to come out on top. They have been given a 63.1 per cent chance of taking all three points, while United, who suffered a 1-0 defeat at Newcastle in their last away game, have slim hopes of 16.4 per cent.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are fancied to beat Brighton at 50.8 per cent as the Gunners try and take top spot - even if it's only for a few hours. After their 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa, Mikel Arteta's side sit second and one point behind Liverpool but can overtake their opponents with victory at 2pm on Sunday.

The algorithm also makes Manchester City, who beat Luton 2-1 last weekend, strong favourites against out-of-form Crystal Palace, with Pep Guardiola's side at 64.9 per cent, with roy Hodgson's side hugely unfancied to pick up an unlikely victory.

Newcastle have lost their last two Premier League matches but are tipped at a mammoth 69 per cent to earn three points over a flying Fulham side at St James' Park. That may come as a shock to many considering the Magpies' recent form, while Marco Silva's side have won their last two matches 5-0. However, Newcastle's home form is impressive, having won seven from eight on Tyneside.

Also heavily fancied are Chelsea when they host Sheffield United on Saturday. Despite losing their last two matches, Mauricio Pochettino's side are heavy favourites to beat the lowly Blades.

Bournemouth are the Premier League's most in-form side over the last five matches, having picked up 13 points in the process. The Cherries entertain Luton at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday with the two sides given a 46.8 and 28 per cent chance respectively.

In the Saturday evening kick-off, Burnley face Everton in what could be described as a potential relegation six-pointer. The Clarets, who sit 19th on eight points, have a 30.6 per cent chance of winning, while in-form Everton are tipped at 45.2 per cent. Sean Dyche's Toffees sit outside the bottom three on 13 points, despite being slapped with a 10-point deduction for breaching Premier League profit and sustainability rules.

Aston Villa have beaten Manchester City and Arsenal in their last two top-flight matches but they are actually the underdogs when they travel to Brentford on Sunday. Villa's hopes of a win are rated at 34.5 per cent to win, with their opponents above 40.

Lastly, West Ham (51.3%) face Wolves (25.8) on Sunday and David Moyes' side are well fancied to win at the London Stadium. The Hammers were thrashed 5-0 last time out vs Fulham, but bounced back to complete their Europa League group stage campaign with a win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
