Sancho dealt savage transfer snub as Man Utd star given brutal reality check
Jadon Sancho has been dealt a second transfer snub in a matter of days, with Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo playing down the chances of a move for the winger.
Sancho has been banished from the Manchester United first-team after a falling out with boss Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman dropped the winger ahead of the defeat to Arsenal in September after being left unhappy with his performances in training.
But the Englishman hit back at his manager, accusing him of not telling the truth, which led to his banishment from all first-team areas at the training ground. Ten Hag is refusing to back down unless Sancho apologises, which he has been unwilling to do.
He is widely expected to be moved on in the January transfer window as United chiefs prepare to cut their losses. But the winger's hopes of finding a new club have suffered a blow after Emenalo rejected claims that he was exploring a move for the Red Devils outcast.
"We can't discuss specific targets with respect to the parent clubs and also for the player himself. We also don't want to be regarded as a dumping ground for players that didn't work in other clubs," he told Sky Sports News.

"We have to look carefully at what our clubs require. We will work closely to make that happen. I don't want to minimise the quality or importance of a player like Jadon. Right now, there are no specific discussions about any specific players."

Kehl said after his side's win over PSG in the Champions League : “At the moment there is no exchange deal discussed or any interest in any player."
Sancho has been urged to back down and apologise by several of his team-mates at United. Ten Hag has remained adamant that an apology is the only way he will consider bringing the attacker back into the fold.
Before the dreadful defeat to Bournemouth last week, the United boss insisted he was merely maintaining standards. The Dutchman also hinted that he will allow the winger to leave next month.
"It is about a culture and every player has to match certain standards and it was about that. What will happen there, he knows what he has to do if he wants to return and it is up to him. He knows what he has to do, it is up to him," Ten Hag said.
"We will see what will happen. It is an internal matter, we will see what will happen. I don't think that a lot will happen in the window but we have to be prepared if there are opportunities. If there are certain circumstances or surprises, we have to be ready to act."
