Emmerdale's Chloe Harris' mum is a very familiar face on the ITV soap, as revealed in scenes last year amid a new twist regarding Chloe's dad.

Around a year after Chloe debuted on the show, she learned a major bombshell that changed everything. After believing the couple who raised her to be her parents, she was stunned when villager Kerry Wyatt revealed she was her real mother.

Chloe had joined the soap in 2021 as the sister of Sarah Sugden's heart donor Gemma, who had sadly died. Chloe was still grieving with it later confirmed her mother had died too, while her dad Damon Harris was in prison - with it now confirmed new villain Harry is Damon.

After Chloe befriended Sarah and revealed all about her family life to her, she soon moved to the village after a twist involving Kerry. Kerry had begun work as a housekeeper at Damon's home, keeping an eye on the house and Chloe while he was in prison.

But after finding out how controlling Damon was and how Chloe was trapped, she decided to get Chloe away from the house and flee with her to the village. Chloe moved in with Kerry, unaware of her true identity.

At some point, Chloe and her imprisoned father became estranged, after she left with Kerry. It wasn't until many months later though that Chloe learned the truth about new friend Kerry, and her reasons for helping her.

Kerry explained to Chloe that she was her real mother, and the Harris family had adopted her when she was a baby. Not only that, but her real father was a man named Tony who Kerry lost contact with, and Chloe also had a sister named Amy Wyatt.

Chloe was left reeling over the news as was Amy, and it took some time for the sisters to bond. Kerry is currently away from the village, and while a return is planned it's not yet known when this will happen.

Chloe herself fled the village recently with her baby son Reuben, after learning fiancé Mackenzie Boyd was still in love with his ex Charity Dingle. Chloe ran away with her son, refusing to let his father Mack know where he is.
