Meghan Markle wants 'part time' reunion with royals, but King has one condition

Meghan Markle is reportedly hoping for a "part time" reunion with the Royal Family.

The Duchess of Sussex is up for the idea of a reconciliation, amid "financial woes" she is currently facing with Prince Harry, sources have claimed. In turn, Meghan would like to spend eight months a year living in California and the remainder renting an apartment at Kensington Palace.

She apparently believes the arrangement could "potentially aid in repairing the strains on her marriage with Prince Harry" while also working as a strategic step in "mending their relationship with King Charles, who has expressed a desire for the family to be reunited."

But the source insisted that a potential reunion would only come under one condition: Meghan and Harry must avoid speaking negatively about the Royal Family in future. Stating that this was non-negotiable, the insider told Life & Style: “Meghan and Harry have to agree not to speak ill of the royals again.

"That’s a must," they added. "It would be an utter embarrassment if they were to be kicked out of the family for a second time." Meghan's potential return to the United Kingdom may seem "unthinkable" at present, but there is a sign that seemingly confirms the Duchess will always have a "way back". Following reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were eyeing up an invitation to the UK for Christmas, Prince Harry had a "warm" phone call with his father, the King, for his birthday.

Meghan was also said to have spoken with her father-in-law. And just when it seemed like a reconciliation could be on the cards, Omid Scobie released his latest book Endgame, which seemingly put a spanner in the works and completely dashed the couple's hopes of a reunion.

But following the fallout from Scobie's Endgame, and the controversy surrounding it, it has been claimed that despite the situation likely reigniting the family's anger, there is "always a way back" for Meghan. Speaking to New Magazine, Duncan Larcombe said: "I think the Sussexes are aware the Prince and Princess of Wales are still furious, and Kate's name coming out in that book will have reignited William's anger."

He went on to add: "There's always a way back. Look at Camilla - she was the most hated person in Britain and now she's the Queen. If that's possible, anything's possible. But as things stand at the moment, I'd say it's pretty unthinkable."
