Inside Harry and Meghan's troubled relationship with their Montecito neighbours
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly long been out of favour with their Montecito neighbours.
The couple moved to Montecito after stepping back from the Royal Family three years ago, but one royal expert has claimed Meghan and Harry's popularity among the other residents is dwindling after Endgame hit the shelves. Kinsey Schofield claimed bookshops in Montecito aren't even stocking the book.
Kinsey claims Harry and Meghan's "star has fallen" after Endgame's release. Speaking to GB News, she said: "Montecito bookstores are refusing - I shouldn't say refusing, there's just no interest in Endgame."
Kinsey claims: "Montecito neighbours are uninterested and appalled by the way that Harry and Megan are not respecting their elders and it seems like they're being very cruel towards their family members. So a lot of the neighbourhood saying that they are uninterested in the Sussexes and don't respect them or appreciate the way that they've treated their family."

A local source revealed that it's the former Suits actress they can't wait to see go.
"Meghan is high and mighty and we cannot wait for her to go," the source told The News. Previously, one neighbour of the couple claimed they "weren't interested" in being welcomed by their American neighbours - and refused to take a gift from him.
US Navy veteran Frank McGinity claimed he wanted to welcome Meghan and Harry by lending them some films he created about the history of Montecito. However, Frank said he was turned away at the gate by security.
The 88-year-old spoke about the brief encounter in his memoir Get Off Your Street, where he also expressed surprise at hearing the Sussexes had moved to the area, as it usually attracts older buyers. He explained: "I have a big house next to Harry and Meghan's property and I live in the guest house while renting the main house out on Airbnb.

Frank said he was turned away by the security at the couple's gate, adding how they wouldn't take his films because they said Meghan and Harry were "not interested". "I was trying to be neighbourly. If they were interested in the neighbourhood I've got a lot of information," Frank wrote.
Meanwhile, another neighbour claimed the couple had not really become part of the community despite living there. British gossip columnist Richard Mineards, who writes for the Montecito Journal, said the Sussexes had "been a no-show" since covertly arriving in July 2020, months after stepping down as working royals in the UK.
He previously told the Times : "Harry and Meghan haven’t become part of the community, and I think a lot of people are bristling about that really. It’s such a lovely place to go out and they’ve been a no-show. There is this big question of, ‘Where are they?’"
