Meghan Markle and Princess Kate 'snub' rumours finally explained
Meghan Markle and the Princess of Wales have been surrounded by feud rumours for years, with it all believed to have started when Meghan was first introduced to the Royal Family.
The Duchess of Sussex started dating Prince Harry in 2016 and he quickly introduced her to his brother, Prince William. However, Meghan wasn't introduced to Princess Kate until January 2017.
Following the release of Harry's debut memoir Spare, many believed Kate had decided to wait outside in the garden at Kensington Palace with her children instead of meeting Meghan. However, it seems a translation error is to blame for the reports of a snub.

In the English version, Harry said he asked his brother where Kate was, to which the Prince of Wales replied: "Out with the kids." However, many people believed the Spanish version said: "Outside with the children," when it was translated.
Meghan met the Prince of Wales in November 2016 and she was introduced to his wife two months later. Meghan has previously revealed her first impression of Princess Kate after they were introduced at a private dinner Harry and Meghan hosted.

Speaking at the time, Harry said: "It was exciting I mean I've — you know I’d been seeing her for a period of time when I literally didn't tell anybody at all.
"And then William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine, so you know, being our neighbours, we managed to get that in a couple of — well quite a few times now and Catherine has been absolutely…" Meghan with a one-word answer chipped in: "Wonderful."
She praised the Royal Family for being very welcoming and recalled the special moment when she met the late Queen for the first time. Meghan said: "To be able to meet her through his lens, not just with his honour and respect for her as the monarch, but the love that he has for her as his grandmother, all of those layers have been so important for me so that when I met her I had such a deep understanding and of course incredible respect for being able to have that time with her."
