Parents have been blown away by a mum's school lunch time-saving hack, which lets her make an entire week's worth of food in a matter of minutes.

Mum-of-four Lauren Clutter has explained how she doesn't have time in the morning to make lunch for her kids, when she's busy enough trying to get them ready and out the door. So instead, she she batch-makes her kids lunches on Sunday afternoon and that gets her through the week.

Other parents have been gobsmacked by how genius the hack is - and even those who don't have kids want to try it out. Taking to her TikTok account @, the mum shared a video, which has since had over 5.4million views.

In the video, Lauren explains: "I don't have time to make everybody lunches in the morning when I'm trying to get everybody ready for school." She then halves a packet of conjoined bread rolls in half horizontally and places ham in a single layer on the bottom half, before adding cheese slices on top.

Speaking to her followers, she says: "My kids don't like condiments, so I don't add those. You just cut them up and you've got 12 sandwiches ready for the week!" After dividing the bread rolls into 12, she says that the sandwiches are good to eat for three days.

The hack left commenters blown away, with one person commenting: "You just blessed me with this." Whilst another, who claimed not to be a parent, said that the hack was beneficial regardless of having children or not. She said: "Mum hacks? I’ll be using this and I have 0 kids."

Meanwhile, another mum saves time by freezing her kids sandwiches, so they can simply be defrosted in the morning. Demonstrating how she makes a large batch of her kids' sandwiches in advance, using a loaf of fresh bread to make them up, she then simply pops the sandwiches back into the original bag the bread came in, putting this back in the freezer.
