To make the delicious fries, preheat the air fryer to 180C, drain the halloumi from its packaging, and cut them into long strips and pat them dry with tissue or a sheet of kitchen roll before placing them in a bowl. To season, add the flour, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Mix it all together and then sieve the fries to shake off the excess flour. Then lay the fries in the air fryer basket and fry for around 15 minutes. However, it's recommended to shake the basket every three to four minutes to crisp them up evenly. It's important to also make sure that the heat remains at 180C until the cheese has cooked.

"The hardest thing is waiting for them to cool down!" Charlie joked. When they're cooked, Charlie suggested a homemade mayonnaise with sweet chilli sauce, which is her personal favourite, but any dip is a good accompaniment.
