Madonna, 65, admits she's 'been through hell' on tour after health scare
As Madonna wrapped the final leg of her European tour at the O2 Arena she told fans she’d “been through hell” with her knee.
The 65-year-old Queen of Pop has been wearing a leg brace while on tour but hasn’t let it stop her as she danced her way through a two-hour show celebrating her 44-year career in music.
Performing hits from the four decades of her career, including ‘Like a Prayer’, ‘Hung Up’ and ‘Ray of Light', Madonna also took long breaks to chat with her loyal fans - who paid up to £1,307.75 a ticket to be in the room. And interacting with the crowd on Wednesday night, Madonna admitted that she’s “been through hell” with her leg after suffering a terrifying health scare earlier this year.

It was reported that Madonna was found unresponsive in her home and needed to be injected with the drug Narcan to combat her deadly septic shock before receiving medical care. At the time physical symptoms that the singer could have been experiencing include low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, cold and pale limbs, and decreased urination. Other mental symptoms the star could have faced include disorientation and confusion.
Luckily after the terrifying health scare Madonna was able to make a speedy recovery and be back on tour within only a few months. As for Madonna's complaints regarding her knee pain, this followed as she previously struggled with hip and knee injuries during Madame X Tour back in 2020.
