Married At First Sight star rushed to hospital after ripping open stitches
Married At First Sight star Tasha Jay shared with fans that she was rushed to hospital over the weekend after ripping open her stitches following surgery.
The reality TV star, 25, who is still together with Paul Liba, who she married on the show, had surgery on her wrist to help her carpal tunnel. This is a painful syndrome which causes pain and numbness in the hand and fingers after pressure on the nerve. But unfortunately for the feisty star, after a night out on the town with friends and her husband Paul, she had to be taken to hospital after re-opening her healed stitches.

Paul and Tasha are still together following Married At First Sight (itstashajay/Instagram)Sharing a video on her Instagram, she told fans: "I am sorry but this is a joke, why, why, why." She added: "For the people that care, I had my carpal tunnel surgery. The cut I have got, it had just healed, the stitches had dissolved and then somehow last night I have managed to rip it all open. So I have got to have this on for another week."
Last month, Tasha left her fans concerned after she revealed that she was left screaming and feeling sick before going under the knife. Sharing her experience which she described as "traumatising" in her hospital gown, Tasha said:"Well you lied to me."
And this was in response to those who had encouraged her to have the surgery. She told fans: "Awful, awful. I've got no words I'm traumatised. Today has been awful. Not to scare anyone that's having the surgery done but everyone that told me it didn't hurt you liars, liars. I screamed, I filled three sick bowls and nearly passed out. Disgusting."

Tasha admitted that the surgery itself wasn't too bad but her "traumatising" experience came when doctors attempted to numb the area before the surgery. Tasha had the same symptoms in both wrists but she sut down any suggestion of repeating the procedure. The TV personality told fans that she was struggling with carrying out daily tasks including applying her mascara.
She said: "Honestly I feel so sorry for myself, you should have seen me trying to open my mascara, I had to use my mouth." Thanking her followers, she added: "Thank you to everyone who has wished me well, I’m going to try and get some rest. And hopefully wake up and my hand is still there."
During the popular reality TV show, Tasha became a subject of discussion following her row with fellow participant Erica Roberts. The pair did not hit it off from the moment Erica, who was a late arrival, joined the show. Sat in a pool during the group's getaway to a spa, Erica told Tasha that she believed she was in the strongest relationship out of all the couples. And Tasha took huge offence to her comment. So much so, in one segment of the episode, Tasha is seen standing over a tearful Erica, shouting at her before being ushered out of the room by Ella Morgan.
And again, in one of the dinner parties, Tasha called Erica a "tramp". The star felt that Erica had snubbed her attempt to greet her but the Scottish star was adamant that was not the case. Outside of Tasha's clash, her relationship with Paul was also a talking point. The pair were one of the strongest couples on the show, so it came as no surprise when at the final vows, Tasha told Paul: "I choose you now, tomorrow and forever."
And Paul had said of her: "Most importantly, however, I want to thank my wife @itstashajay. Without her, this experience would have been incomplete. She has been my rock and my biggest supporter throughout this entire process and I am eternally grateful for her."
