England discover path to Euro 2024 final as kick-off times and dates confirmed
The Euro 2024 group stage draw took place on Saturday, handing England their potential route through Germany and all the way to the final.
Gareth Southgate's men have their sights set on being in Berlin come Sunday, July 14 next year in the hope of winning their first trophy since 1966. How they'll get there from starting out in Group C remains undecided, but should the Three Lions continue on their run of solid starts in major tournaments under Southgate's leadership, we can have a good guess.
After opening their campaign against Serbia at 8pm UK time on Sunday, June 16, they'll face Denmark at 5pm the following Thursday, June 20. England will then hope that their final match against Slovenia at 8pm on Tuesday, June 25 is only a formality, and that's when fans will be able to get properly excited about the knockout stage.
Based on current FIFA world rankings, we can predict that should the Three Lions finish as group winners and enter the round of 16, they'll play against one of the best third-placed teams from Group D, E or F in Gelsenkirchen at 5pm on Sunday, June 30. Next up would be a mouthwatering quarter-final in Dussledorf against most likely Italy at 5pm on Saturday, July 6.
Then in the semis, another reunion with an old foe - this time France - would take place in Dortmund at 8pm on Wednesday, July 10. And, of course, should England reach back-to-back European Championship finals and give themselves a shot at glory, their date with destiny will take place on Sunday, July 14, again at 8pm.

If, however, the Three Lions were to finish second in Group C, then for their round-of-16 clash Southgate and co would face the winner of Group A at 8pm on Saturday, June 29 in Dortmund. That's likely to be hosts Germany, although Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland will all fancy their chances in an open group.

Following that, a potential quarter-final clash with Spain in Stuttgart would follow, kicking off at 5pm on Friday, July 6. In the semi-final it'd most likely be the Netherlands who England would take on, and that match would start at 8pm on Tuesday, July 9 in Munich.
We also shouldn't rule out the possibility of England only finishing third in Group C, and that'd throw a whole host of complications for planning. The best four of the six third-placed sides will advance from their groups, with UEFA sticking to the 24-team format for the third successive Euros.
