Liverpool's Premier League campaign resumes on Sunday as Fulham travel to Merseyside.

The Reds have made a stellar start to the season. They are third in the Premier League, five points behind leaders Arsenal. But they will move to within two points of Mikel Arteta's team, who defeated Wolves 2-1 on Saturday, if they win their game in hand.

Jurgen Klopp's players should be confident of beating Fulham after hammering Austrian side LASK 4-0 at Anfield on Thursday to secure a place in the last 16 of the Europa League. They are also going well in the Carabao Cup, having reached the quarter-finals.

With all that in mind, here are the latest headlines from Anfield...

Phillips set for exit

Juventus and several top Premier League clubs are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City in January. It's believed the England international was a transfer target for Liverpool during the previous window, but their interest has now cooled.

Former Liverpool winger Steve McManaman has urged Phillips to leave City. "He has to get out, he has to play football, he has to impress and he has to show everyone what an amazing footballer he is," McManaman told Betfred in October.

Supercomputer worry

Liverpool will NOT win the Premier League title, according a supercomputer. The Reds have been tipped to finish third in the table, with City winning a record fourth consecutive title. No team in the history of English football has won four on the bounce.

The three teams that achieved promotion from the Championship - Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton - have been tipped to make an immediate return. That means Everton will stay up, according to the supercomputer, despite their 10-point deduction.
