Eagle-eyed boy spots hidden Toblerone feature most people haven't noticed
Toblerone is a chocolate that many people will be thrilled to receive under their Christmas tree - but one eagle-eyed boy spotted a hidden feature on the packaging that many will likely never have noticed.
It's a popular favourite thanks to its more-ish honey and almond nougat that people just cannot seem to get enough of, and with them changing their production from Switzerland to Slovakia earlier this year. The packaging now also reads "established in Switzerland", rather than "of Switzerland."
But have you ever given the packaging any more thought than just ripping it open anyway to get to the tasty treat that's inside? Well, one woman's son certainly did, leaving the internet in a frenzy.
The packaging has previously gone viral thanks to an eagle-eyed youngster who pointed out something unexpected to his baffled mum. A Twitter user shared the revelation, which was brought to her attention by her son, as he was preparing to tuck into his first bar.
She said he'd become inquisitive about the packaging, spotting a detail that his mum had never noticed before. The tweet read: "My son had his first Toblerone today. 'What's the bear for?' Me: 'What bear?' I was today years old when I found out there's a bear in the Toblerone logo."
'I don't want children staying up late at weekends - I really need adult time'
The bear appears in the two-tone logo, which is stood up on its hind legs - and there have been suggestions the bear may be here to stay, despite the changes to the mountain.
She went on to explain: "Toblerone comes from Bern, Switzerland. Also known as the city of bears." Social media users praised the incredibly observant youngster, with many saying they hadn't seen it either - despite the fact one Twitter user admitted to buying her dad one every year for 38 years on Father's Day.
One joked: "There is clearly no bear in the logo of Tobl... oh, there he is. Damn." Another commented: "I have never seen that!!! Your son is brilliant!"
"Eating them for 50 years never noticed that, your lad's a genius, in my defence the wrapper is the last thing I'm thinking about when I get one", someone else praised.
