Fred Sirieix’s fiancée Fruitcake has already landed in Australia to prepare for his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! exit - and it seems she’s a bit peeved about one of the incidents that took place in the jungle.

For more than two weeks, 51-year-old Fred has been living life in the jungle as part of ITV’s long-running reality show. He has endured freezing cold showers, basic rations for food, stomach churning trials, and even been embroiled in a bewildering argument with fellow campmate Nella Rose.

But while watching the show, there is one thing that Fruitcake - the affectionate name that Fred calls his soon-to-be wife - was most distressed about. And that is the fact that Fred has revealed to the world when he plans to wed his beloved.

Fred and Fruitcake had been due to get married in the past - but their plans were derailed and postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But in scenes that aired last week, Fred explained how he and Fruitcake met by chance on the street - and he plans to marry her in Jamaica next year.

He told his fellow campmates: “I met her in Peckham… I was walking up and she was smiling at me and I was smiling at her and I liked her eyes… I just had to talk to her… I asked for her number, I said, ‘Shall we go for a drink tonight?’ That was nine years ago. We're getting married next year in Jamaica.”

Now Fruitcake has shared her shock that Fred has shared their wedding details - and it seems his little revelation has sent shockwaves through their friendship group. She told reporters Down Under: “I was shocked and there was some people saying when are the invites coming out? So like thanks.”

Fruitcake - who is a fashion expert who shared her “affordable fashion finds” on social media - also admits she has been missing Fred’s cooking while he has been in the jungle. She admits: “It's been really fun watching him and I am not surprised he has been doing all the cooking and exercising. It is really fun he has been making loads of friends in there.

“It is sad being apart from him. I'm gonna sound really selfish here but I've really missed his cooking and watching him cook for everyone in the jungle is like wahhh.”

Fruitcake has also been left feeling proud over the fact that Fred took Nigel Farage to task over his views on immigration and Brexit. She said: “It was in an adult way. Yeah. And you don't always have to agree with someone's views. And if you can do it in a polite and adult way then great.”
