Taylor Swift delights fans as she announces major Eras Tour news
Taylor Swift has announced that she will be releasing an extended version of the Eras Tour concert film for fans to watch in the comfort of their own homes from next month.
The singer-songwriter, 33, embarked on her latest tour earlier this year and has already performed in countries including the US and Brazil. A concert film, which was recorded in August, was released in cinemas last month.
It's now been announced that a new version, featuring three songs not in the previous theatrical release, will be available to rent on demand from her birthday on December 13. Taylor shared the news on social media on Monday.

Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we've had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!"

"Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including 'Wildest Dreams,' 'The Archer' and 'Long Live' will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13," she added.
The post included footage of Taylor performing Wildest Dreams on the tour. The song was originally released back in 2015, before featuring on the re-recorded album 1989 (Taylor's Version), which was released last month.
She's now announced that the concert film will be available to rent on demand in select countries from next month (Getty Images for TAS Rights Management)The video has more than 5 million views on X - formerly known as Twitter - and 17 million plays on Instagram. The tweet has more than 200,000 likes, whilst the post sharing the news on the other platform has 3 million likes.
The news has prompted reaction from her followers on social media, with one person tweeting: "So excited to be able to watch this at home." Whilst another fan responded: ""OMGGGGG!!! Cant wait to rewatch 20 times!!" A third tweeted: "Thank you for always giving us the best gifts on your birthday!! We love you so much."
The Eras Tour itself has concluded for the year, though it's set to resume in February next year with a series of concerts in Japan. Taylor will visit a host of other countries including Portugal, the UK and the Netherlands in subsequent months. The tour is set to conclude in Canada in December next year.
