Woman 'sick with rage' at husband's double life with their kids' godmother
A woman "can't sleep at night" after finding out her husband has been cheating with her best friend and godmother to their children.
It's a position no person wants to be in. You find out the two people you trust the most - your husband and your best friend are having an affair. One woman was has been left "sick with rage" after she found her married bestie and husband kissing in her driveway.
The godmother of the couple's four children, 32, was seen straddling her best friend's husband in the grounds of the family home. The wife of the cheating 42-year-old husband, also found messages dating back two to three years between the duo. "I'm lost and have no idea what steps to take next," the heartbroken women anonymously said on Reddit.
Speaking about what happened, she wrote on Reddit: "They don't know that I know, but I caught them making out at the end of our driveway when he was seeing her off after dinner with our family. We live on a small acreage and the driveway is a long way off from the main house.
"She had forgotten some crockery at the house and I decided to walk it over, because for some reason the two of them always took a while to say goodbye - mow I know why. That's when I saw them lit by her car's headlights. Making out in the front seat with our best friend straddling my husband."

She added: "In shock I didn't know whether to throw her Pyrex at the car or just walk away. I decided the latter, and was too shocked to cry or be angry. When my husband got back, I had to pretend like everything was normal. The best friend is godmother to the couple's four children."
She commented: "I know that it's stupid but I couldn't sleep that night and decided to go through his phone. She was obviously under a pseudonym but I found a handful of their messages dating two or three years. I'm sick with rage and betrayal. I'm lost and have no idea what steps to take next." The furious woman explained that her best friend's husband is unaware of the affair; he is a diplomat who works overseas.
Hundreds of people commented on the post, with majority of people advising the betrayed wife to leave her husband. One individual said: "I am so sorry. Remember you have value and worth. Difficult days are ahead, but you will get through this."
Another added: "Definitely gather as much evidence as possible. Don't forgive either of them, but don't show your hand too soon. Remember, revenge is a dish best served cold." A third commented: "Take screenshots and send them to yourself, delete them off his phone and use it as proof before you confront him."
"This is the worst," another wrote. Another Reddit user said: "I'm so sorry this is happening to you. Please gather all of the evidence you can before you light the fuse, perhaps by making screenshots of the messages you found. You want this case to be as strong as possible and the proof irrefutable."
