Prince William's "oversharing" has ruined his relationship with brother Prince Harry, says Omid Scobie.

The royal author, who's bombshell book Endgame releases on Tuesday, spoke to Good Morning America about the feud between the two Princes and revealed that there is "irreparable damage" between them. Omid said: "He [Prince William] is sharing private information about his brother that ended up on the front page of a newspaper not long later.

"These are things that have caused irreparable damage in the relations between each other," he added before discussing Harry's relationship with his father, King Charles. "There is this steady open line of communication between the two [Prince Harry and his father], where they are able to talk with each other and Harry clearly understands that his father probably isn’t the most emotional or open person.”

Omid also revealed that he knows who made "racist" comments about Prince Archie's skin colour, which was initially brought to life in Harry and Meghan Markle's explosive Oprah interview. He said: "I do know who made the comments about Archie’s skin colour. The names were mentioned in letters between Meghan and Charles that were exchanged sometime after the Oprah interview.

"We know from sources that Charles was horrified that that’s how Meghan felt that that’s how those conversations were," Omid concluded. Amid the drama, he has received threats on social media.

It's now been revealed that in 2018, the Duchess of Sussex personally reached out to him on his mobile phone to check in on his welfare. The call came about after a member of Meghan's team told her he had been dealing with threats and harassment. According to The Telegraph, details of the phone call will be published in Endgame.

Speaking to Good Morning America, Omid admitted he often felt like he was "caught up in a family drama" between the Sussexes and the Royals. He explained how Meghan had reached out to him "just to check in" and to see "if he was okay".

Omid also told hosts that despite rumours, he's actually "not even that close" with Harry and Meghan. He also insisted he "never chose Team Sussex".

Despite the seemingly close connection, Omid has spoken out about claims he is friends with the Duchess of Sussex. Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, he said: "And let's get this nonsense out the way - #ENDGAME is about the current state of the British Royal Family. It's not 'Harry and Meghan’s book', I'm not 'Meg’s pal', the Sussexes have nothing to do with it, their story is a small part of a much bigger one you can read in 12 days."
