Taylor Swift is currently on tour in Brazil, with her final show of The Eras Tour set to take place tonight in Sao Paulo.

But after two nights in the city, and 12 other international dates recently completed, fans of the 33-year-old hitmaker are convinced that a huge announcement is coming. And they're convinced the announcement will happen tonight.

Yes, that's right, Taylor's loyal fan base reckon something big will be announced on the night of November 26, with many believing Reputation (Taylor's Version) and the release date for the re-recorded album will be revealed.

But why are Swifties so convinced that Taylor will announce Rep TV tonight? Well, there are a number of clues and Easter Eggs that point towards this theory being true - and we've rounded up some of the most telling signs ahead of the Anti-Hero singer taking to the stage - and possibly making a huge announcement (we can hope).

Fans were originally convinced that Reputation TV would be announced earlier this month in Rio de Janeiro, but following the tragic death of Ana Clara Benevides and Taylor then rescheduling a show due to extreme heat in the city, the speculation didn't amount to anything.

But now Swifties think November 26 is the date that Rep TV will be announced, and one fan has handily rounded up many of the reasons why. Taking to Twitter, which is now known as X, one fan made a list of the reasons why fans are so convinced.

"Tomorrow's show is the 66th show on Eras Tour and the 13th international date," was the first point in the list, which touched on Taylor's love for numbers. She's a huge fan of the number 13.

"Backwards countdown theory," was then listed second. Another user summarised the backwards countdown theory in a separate post when they penned: "The theory is that yesterday she performed a 1989 tv track, then a Speak Now tv track and today’s first was (technically) a Red tv track and then a Fearless tv track so if that girl was right then tomorrow is debut and reputation tracks and we all know what rep track is left."

The third point in the list of reasons why Swifties are "clowning" then read: "Taylor is wearing surprise song dresses that represent the Brazilian flag and tomorrow she'll be wearing the GREEN dress," touching on snakes and their links to the colour green.

"Safe and Sound and Untouchable were both released 12/26 and 10/26, respectively," read the fourth point. While the fifth said: "11/26 is national cake day. Remember the IBYTAM [I Bet You Think About Me] cake [in the music video] is full of 26s."

"Snake Island in Sao Paulo shape looks like Taylor as a mountain in the Karma MV," read the next reason, which referred to how in the Karma music video, Taylor's face and body were morphed into the shape of a mountain.

"She is also doing a similar countdown to 1989 where she sand two Rep songs in a row, leaving only I Did Something Bad," read the next reason.

And the final reason then said: "In the Midnight Rain (the 6th track [on Midnights]), she did the KOMH roll from the Rep tour," a dance move Taylor did on the Reputation tour when singing King Of My Heart.

Elsewhere on the social platform, another person weighed in and said: "Nov 26th 2023 being the final Eras show of the year and New Year's Day released as a single on Nov 27th 2017... Today is New Year's Eve."

And the final plausible clue that Reputation TV is en route, is the fact that Taylor crooned two surprise songs last night that had similar lyrics to two tracks from Reputation.

One fan shared screenshots of the lyrics from Safe and Sound, which read: "When I said, 'I'll never let you go'," alongside lyrics from King Of My Heart that read: "I'll never let you go."

They then shared lyrics from Untouchable that read: "In the middle of the night when I'm in this dream," and then from ...Ready For It? where Taylor sings: "In the middle of the night, in my dreams."

The lyric comparisons, along with the aforementioned backwards surprise song theory have further fuelled speculation that Reputation TV is coming tonight.

But will Taylor step out on-stage tonight in a black dress and announce the hotly-anticipated album? Only time will tell...
