Kate Middleton 'shivered' at the mention of Meghan Markle's name, it is claimed
It has been claimed that the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, used to "jokily shiver" when her sister-in-law Meghan Markle's name was mentioned.
Omid Scobie, the author who worked on Finding Freedom - a bombshell book about Harry and Meghan and their departure from the Royal Family - will release his "explosive" new book, on Tuesday. The author, who has been dubbed Meghan's mouthpiece in the past, has penned Endgame, which is said to be "a penetrating investigation into the current state of the British monarchy".
Ahead of his bombshell book hitting shelves this coming week, Scobie has sat down with The Sunday Times Magazine to chat about the British Monarchy, with him even touching upon the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

This came before Scobie detailed how the Princess is portrayed as a woman "terrified to do anything more than grinning photo opportunities".

"In the coverage of Kate we infantilise her massively so the bar is always lower," the author spilled to the magazine when getting interviewed at his Hollywood home. He added: "The small achievements that we’ve seen from the Princess of Wales wouldn’t perhaps be noticed if it was from another member of the royal family, but with Kate it’s like ‘wow!’."
This comes amid reports that Meghan and Harry wouldn't turn down an invitation to Sandringham this Christmas, with Prince William and Kate said to view this potential happening as "total humiliation" should it happen.
An insider recently told The Times: "I can’t imagine the Sussexes would decline an invitation to spend time with His Majesty. As of yet, there have not been any invitations for the holidays."
But the prospect of the Sussexes visiting wouldn't best pleases the Waleses, according to a recent report. Speaking to The Daily Beast last week, a close pal of William is reported to have said: "Would you want to sit down for a slap-up Christmas lunch with someone who had basically called you an asshole in public?"
They went on to add that the Prince and Princess of Wales would never "sign up" for such "total humiliation", in the form of spending Christmas with the Sussexes.
