Royal family urged Kate and Meghan to dress like Princess Diana, Omid writes
The Royal family has continuously urged Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton to dress like Princess Diana after presenting them with special gifts that she would often wear as part of her legendary ensembles, it is claimed..
A copy of Omid Scobie's exposé book "Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival" states that the monarchy frequently attempted to imitate Princess Diana's appearance. As Scobie notes, "While finding a trend untouched by Diana's iconic style is almost impossible, the huge amount of effort that goes into channeling her exact look sometimes goes beyond the pale," the ensembles were capped by real items the late princess would wear.
Having "worked" with Harry and William for many years, the veteran royal writer noted that "Diana cosplay has become a royal staple during the past thirteen years," but her royal kids were aware of this and authorized what may be used.

It had been known for someone to go back and pull images of Diana at a certain place or time for ideas," Omid wrote. He then explained how odd the practice was, saying the Monarchy still wants to leech Diana's success for themselves, according to Marca.

"At the right moment this can be a sweet gesture, but there is also a slightly queasy feeling when you realize it's often orchestrated within the same system that contributed to her living misery, and an institution that still wants some of Diana's shine to rub off on them," the book reads.

While her husband was attending King Charles III's coronation on the other side of the pond in May, Meghan was photographed hiking and sporting Diana's Cartier watch.
Additionally, Kate has been spotted channeling Diana a few times. She was seen in public sporting her mother-in-law's renowned sapphire earrings. But she added her own unique touch to the timeless composition.
In July, Kate also paid homage to Diana by dressing like the late former royal in a mint green jacket at Wimbledon, which was reminiscent of an outfit she wore in 1981. The clothing worn by the royal women is only one of the numerous subjects that Omid covers in his next book, which is released on Tuesday.
In addition, he discusses Kate's tense relationship with Meghan throughout the years, saying that the latter "jokingly shivers" whenever the "Suits" alum's name is mentioned.
The contentious writer asserts that before Meghan and Harry started their "Megxit" in 2020, the women had nearly zero direct communication.
