William and Kate found the South Park episode lampooning Harry and Meghan 'hilarious', a new book claims. In his new book on the Royal Family, journalist Omid Scobie claims the Prince and Princess of Wales were laughing at the TV show as it mocked Harry and Meghan back in February.

On the show, a fictional Prince and Princess, based on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, move to the town of South Park for privacy. But once there, they then go about bringing attention to themselves - while still demanding privacy.

Many saw the show as a thinly-veiled dig at Harry and Meghan and Scobie's new book claims William and Kate also found the show funny.

News of the Royals' alleged reaction to the show, it is further claimed King Charles referred to Prince Harry as "that fool" after he released his scathing Netflix documentary.

According to The Sun, a newly released book that was leaked on Sunday shows how the monarch responded to Harry's choice to provide information about family conflicts in exchange for a $100 million contract with the streaming service. In his latest book Endgame, author Scobie —who is thought to have had a close relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex—writes: "At the Palace, heads were in hands and migraines were brewing."

“(The show) took the wind out of everyone’s sails,” one aide said. “(He) went from not wanting anyone to talk about his son to openly criticizing ‘that fool.’ ”

However, royal experts have criticized the book for depicting William and Charles as being bound for disaster. "It's totally rubbish to suggest William and the King would ever be at loggerheads," author Phil Dampier stated. “They’ve grown incredibly close and there is no way in which William would do anything to undermine him.”

The 75-year-old Charles is also portrayed in Endgame as a "pampered" monarch who enjoys an "extravagantly luxurious lifestyle," which includes having his shoelaces ironed. It states that he insisted on bringing bed linens with a thread count of 1,000, which were to be steam-washed flawlessly.

“When laces get even the smallest bit threadbare, a staff member must quickly switch them out with a fresh, ironed pair," an extract asserted. “There is even a rumor, which has been confirmed by sources, that Charles likes to have someone squeeze exactly one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush for him ahead of his bedtime routine.”

This comes after Scobie's new book claimed that Meghan Markle accused two members of the Royal Household of voicing "concerns" over the skin tone of her baby Archie.

According to Endgame, the Duchess of Sussex wrote to King Charles III expressing her worries about a situation that may rekindle the controversy over the Sussexes' 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, which was dubbed "royal racism."
