Love Island star Scott van-der-Sluis had a busy few months travelling back and forth between different versions of the show.

The TV personality rose to fame on this summer's series of the UK series. Unfortunately, his partner Catherine Agbaje's head was turned in Casa Amor and she ended up returning to the villa with a new man. A disappointed Scott was soon eliminated but he didn't have time to unpack what happened before he was on another plane.

He jetted off to join the gorgeous stars on the American version of the dating competition but he didn't last long before he was eliminated. The star could have returned home to get some much-needed rest and relaxation but opted to join yet another version of the series - Love Island Games.

After months of jokes about the star being booked and busy, Scott took to his Instagram Stories to explain how he felt about taking part in all three shows. During a Q&A session with his 300,000 followers, one curious fan asked: "You seemed very different in LIUS and LIG than LIUK. In which did you feel more like yourself?"

"A few people have said this, I think I was just mentally drained and a lot more aggy. I only really took Love Island UK seriously. I felt like the other 2 were a job," he answered honestly. Fans have been supporting the TV personality's choice to join all three shows and have discussed it on multiple forums.

Writing on a Reddit post about his three separate appearances on the game shows, one user wrote: "Scott is the ultimate troll and no one will ever make me turn on him. Got that bag and macked on three baddies in one year. Haters stay hatin’," while another posted: "They stay calling him jobless like he hasn’t been paid for his multiple free holidays. I love his attitude to it all."

One fan joked about him losing every single competition and added: "6th place 3 times in the space of 4 months is insane." Another user commented: "I kind of love how unserious he is about it all. Not sure what he’s gonna do moving forward though but he’s had fun I suppose. He’s looked less and less arsed on each appearance."

Scott has been a good sport about it all and recently joked about joining another version of Love Island. Taking to Instagram, he cursed out narrator Iain Stirling and said: "F**k you @iaindoesjokes." A confused Iain replied: "What have I done!?" Scott continued the joked and added: "Told everyone I’m going Love Island Lithuania ffs they’ve dropped me now."

Iain had the last laugh as he commented: "@scottvds17 no worries Love Island Iceland next month!"
