I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! viewers have turned on Nella Rose and criticised her for taking Fred Sirieix's comments 'out of context'.

The 26 year old influencer was seen ignoring the First Dates star when he offered her some rice during the latest update from the jungle. Nella later explained in the Bush Telegraph on Tuesday night's show: "Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad. I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad's passed away."

She added that she didn't say anything to Fred at the time because she was 'so annoyed' and had decided he wasn't the kind of person' she wanted to be around. Fred, growing frustrated with Nella's silence, asked her: "Nella? Darling? You don't want to eat?"

When Nella requested him to leave her alone, he probed her about what he'd done to upset her. Nella then explained her reasons, telling Fred: "You know that my mum's dead, and you know that my dad's dead. You know that, right? I've come to find out that every time I wanna get creative around the fire, or I want to have something my way, my own food that I am entitled to, my way, you tend to get an attitude, right?

She went on to say: "So yesterday, when I wanted to burn fat that you were going to throw away anyways, it's not even something that we needed to survive in camp, you turned around to me, with an attitude and said, 'You know I could be your dad, right?' To me, I don't care how you said it to me, it's disrespectful ." Nella then told Fred she felt 'disrespected by him, stating: "I don't want to eat your food, I don't want to talk to you. We can just live, you live on that side, I live on this side."

The editing of Tuesday's episode saw fans to see the actual conversation that went on between Nella and Fred, to allow them to get a full understanding of the context of his comments, with the result being that the overwhelming majority sided with Fred and rushed to support him online.

Nella's actions left viewers at home both angry and shocked. One fan quickly took to social media to express their outrage: "Nella has gone from favourite to defo being first out. Her treatment of Fred is bang out of order. Totally uncalled for," while another added: "Fred not my favourite person but that outburst from Nella was f**king outrageous."
