EastEnders fans sickened over Dean's cruel blackmail twist as he targets Linda

EastEnders viewers were repulsed as Linda Carter's rapist Dean Wicks taunted her before blackmailing her in the latest episode of the BBC soap.

After Dean was left hospitalised after a run-in with George Knight, his fate was confirmed leading to fears George will be arrested. Dean was pushing the agenda that George deliberately threw him down the stairs and almost killed him, with Linda desperate to stop George from going to prison.

Dean fell after George slapped him during a showdown, with the attack sending him tripping down the stairs. George had not meant for him to fall, and an ambulance was called straight away.

But Dean was happy to claim George had tried to kill him, using it to his advantage before blackmailing Linda. As Linda begged him to claim it was an accident, he agreed on one sickening condition.

Dean raped Linda Carter on the BBC soap back in 2014, but he got away with the crime. Dean left a couple of years after, but recently he returned to Walford and claimed the pair had has consensual sex, and that Linda was lying.

Now, he's refusing to leave despite Walford residents wanting him gone, and he is making Linda's life hell. He's still trying to convince people that he was innocent and had been vilified for no reason, while Walford residents don't believe him.

After the fall, Dean told Linda that the only way to make it all go away is if she tells everyone "the truth", that they had an affair and it wasn't rape. Linda shuddered as Dean once again claimed she had made his life hell and that he had done nothing wrong, seemingly believing his own lies.

Dean blackmailed her over George's freedom, and told her he would tell the police he tripped as long as she does as he says. He told her she needed to tell everyone she was not raped and that she had lied about him for all these years.

Viewers were disgusted with Dean and the scenes, as it remained unclear whether Linda would do as he asked. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer said: "Dean is such a gross disgusting horrible human," as a second wrote: "seriously get dean off our screens. this is disgusting."

A third commented: "I will say this again, Dean is delusional! Omg." Meanwhile, a fourth fan said: "Dean just needs to stay the f**k away now. He's done more than enough damage. He's said everything he wanted to say."
