'Rishi Sunak can't shrug off explosive Covid claims - our country needs answers'

The allegation that Rishi Sunak said during Covid that the Government should “just let people die” is an explosive one.

The current Conservative Prime Minister cannot simply shrug off this dynamite charge.

It was documented by Sir Patrick Vallance, No 10’s former Chief Scientific Adviser, after the view was attributed to Mr Sunak by Dominic Cummings – who at the time, was Boris Johnson’s most influential aide.

We got used to this type of callousness from former PM Johnson, now a busted flush. Mr Sunak was Chancellor in the pandemic. Now he is in No10 and could face a ferocious backlash unless he can convince survivors and grieving families he didn’t hold such views. His appearance next month at the Covid inquiry will require answers, not stonewalling.

Either that or Farage will be laughing all the way to the bank while everybody else scowls.

She lives in the same house as a former husband who paid £12million to settle an underage sex claim and was friendly with a convicted paedophile.

On a show where a star presenter lost his job over a sex scandal, you might think Sarah Ferguson would want to avoid all talk of sex.

But the Duchess of York isn’t just anybody and she deserves a contract with Ann Summers after twice suggesting sexy lingerie to boost the love lives of This Morning viewers.
