Made in Chelsea's Tiffany Watson issues health alert after baby son hospitalised
Made In Chelsea star Tiffany Watson has issued a warning to other parents to be vigilant after her baby was hospitalised with a viral infection.
The 28-year-old reality star became a first time mum earlier this year when she welcomed her son, Jude, in June. The E4 reality show star is married to Colchester United footballer husband Cameron McGeehan, also 28, and has been sharing updates about parenting since they became a new mum and dad in the summer.
But their new roles as parents took a terrifying turn over the weekend when baby Jude fell ill and needed to be rushed to hospital. The five-month-old baby was struck with respiratory syncytial virus (RVS) - a common virus a lot of children are infected with by the time they're two years old.

The reality star shared updates from hospital (Instagram/tiffanyc_watson)The virus manifests in a similar way to a cough or cold, but can caught bronchitis in young children - with common symptoms including wheezing and breathing difficulties. Taking to social media on Sunday, Tiff shared photos from inside a children’s hospital.
She wrote: “Sadly we ended up here last night. Jude is not very well but we are back home now & having lots of cuddles. It's so hard seeing your baby in pain and sad. I also am running on empty but you literally don't even think about yourself when it comes to your babies health. Winter season has well and truly hit.”

Tiff went on to warn other parents to watch out for the common illness - which can be fatal to infants. She shared an info-panel that stated: “It's RSV season and this is your friendly reminder, to NOT KISS babies & toddlers on the hands or faces if they aren't your child. Even if you are immediate family. This is not about you. This is about protecting children from becoming seriously sick.”

When people look at you like you're being ott or 'it's good for their immune system' I used to be the same pre having him & now I get it and seeing other babies seriously sick in a and e last night was a huge wake up call to me. I don't care if I offend people anymore his health is priority & if people can't respect your rules for your baby.”
The reality star was met with a wall of support and sympathy from her social media followers, and she in turn thanked them for their kindness. Sharing a snap of herself cradling her baby, Tiff wrote: “Thank you for everyone’s kind words. Lots of sleeping on me going on and hopefully he will be back to himself soon,” alongside a red heart emoji. Fellow reality star Millie Redford also recently shared news that her baby daughter, Elodie, had also been struck down with RSV.
The 22 Kids And Counting star shared a graphic titled "Are you RSV aware?" which outlined "what you should know about RSV" and warned "almost every child" will become infected with RSV in their "first two years of life."
The info-graphic noted that RSV is transmitted - in a "similar way to colds of the flu, either by breathing in tiny droplets in the air of by the virus getting in contact with the mouth or nose, for example by touch". The details also warned that the virus can survive on surfaces for hours - remaining contagious.
