Miracle cleaning product 'melts' away silicone sealant mould in the bathroom
Mould is a nightmare that none of us want to tackle, but unfortunately, damp rooms such as your bathroom can be a magnet for the fast-spreading fungus.
You should consider regularly checking your bathroom for signs of mould because of how much water is used in the room, especially warm water, which creates steam and condensation. One of the first areas to attract mould is often the silicone sealant you find around your shower, bath, and sink, and thanks to the sealant's spongey texture, it can also be a nightmare to remove. Thankfully though, fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have found a miracle cleaning product that can save your bathroom from succumbing to the mould takeover.
According to fans in a Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips group on Facebook, the best product for removing mould from your bathroom's silicone sealant is HG Mould Spray - which costs less than £6 from retailers including Tesco and Amazon.
People left their comments after someone asked if anyone could "suggest a cleaner that gets rid of black mould on bath sealant". One person wrote: "HG mould spray is honestly the best thing I've ever bought, the only product you need. Just spray and leave everything just disappears. No need to scrub, I wipe or rinse the area afterwards and make sure the room is well-ventilated as it's super strong."
While another added: "HG Mould spray is amazing, you won't be disappointed," and a third said: "HG mould spray all the time, it's fantastic and the mould will just melt away."

Meanwhile, we recently reported on a cheap trick that could help you lift the mould from the grout between the tiles in your bathroom, which can also be another common sight alongside sealant mould. All you need to do is wipe some bleach onto the affected area with a cotton wool pad and leave it to sit, before wiping the grout clean.
One person commented: "Bleach and cotton wool pads and leave for 24 hours," while another added: "Saw someone on TV put some bleach on cotton wool and place it on the mould. Leave for about 20-30 minutes then take off and the mould has gone."
Bleach can be bought from Tesco for 55p for a 750ml bottle, while a packet of 35 cotton wool pads from Superdrug will cost you 99p, meaning the trick will cost you a total of £1.54.
