Emmerdale fans 'rumble' reason behind Chloe collapse amid hospital dash

Emmerdale fans think they have rumbled the "real reason" for Chloe Harris collapsing on Tuesday night as she was rushed to hospital.

During the latest episode, Mack Boyd was overjoyed when Charity Dingle accepted his love declaration and to get back together for good following a tumultuous journey. However, Mack soon realised this meant he had to break Chloe's heart, who secretly knows he left her in the car and saved Charity last month following the trio's horror crash.

Later in the episode, Mack decided to end things with Chloe but, as he attempted to dump her, Chloe collapsed unconscious in the kitchen. Meanwhile, a floored Charity watched on in disbelief as Mack accompanied Chloe to hospital in the back of an ambulance.

However, viewers think they've rumbled the "real reason" for Chloe's collapse with a slew of explosive theories. Taking to social media, one person said: "Either something to do with the aftermath of the crash or she knows what Mack was going say so faking it", a different account put: "Faking it I think to bring him back", another fan wrote: "She's playing him like an old fiddle... she wants revenge for him saving Charity!" while another viewer speculated: "Anyone thinking she's pregnant again for real this time?"

Viewers will recall that Chloe does remembers everything from the dramatic car crash during super soap stunt week. Chloe, Mack and Charity were involved in a brutal car crash, where a van crashed into them at full speed out of nowhere. Mackenzie was able to escape the wreckage but realised his two lovers were trapped in the car, which was perilously perched on the side of a cliff.

Mackenzie picked Charity, which resulted in Chloe falling off the cliff and being airlifted to hospital. Chloe underwent serious brain surgery, where it was revealed she had been put in an induced coma and she could have longterm brain damage. However, Chloe was thankfully brought out of her coma and upon regaining consciousness admitted she could "remember nothing", leaving Mack relieved.

Yet this was soon revealed to be a lie and that Chloe remembers everything, with fans predicting she is quietly plotting her revenge. It comes as Emmerdale star Jessie Elland shared whether we could see a character make a big return to the ITV soap, as she addressed her soap future.
