The Buffalo Bills have moved swiftly in the hope of ending a slide that has seen them lose four of their last six games - hoping to fix their spluttering offense after parting company with offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey.

The Bills were beaten 24-22 by the Broncos on 'Monday Night Football'. A Wil Lutz field goal in the final seconds of the game secured the victory for Denver who moved to 4-5 for the season.

Buffalo has now fallen to 5-5 for the season following the loss to the Broncos. Quarterback Josh Allen had completed a rushing touchdown with just 1:55 remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Bills a 22-21 lead, but it would not be enough to prevent another defeat.

Less than 24 hours after the loss at Bills Stadium, the Buffalo front office has made a change to the coaching staff. The team announced on Tuesday that Dorsey is leaving his position as offensive coordinator, with quarterback coach Joe Brady installed as his replacement. Dorsey was first hired by the Bills as quarterback coach and eventually worked his way to being named offensive coordinator in 2022 following the departure of Brian Daboll.

Allen has completed 19 touchdown passes in his 10 games with the Bills this season. The sixth-year quarterback has completed at least one TD pass in every game so far this season, but will now be tasked with working under a different offensive coordinator for the foreseeable future.

Brady had been the quarterback coach for the Bills since February 2022 and has been working alongside Allen for nearly two years, having replaced Dorsey who had previously served as the QB coach in Buffalo before being promoted to offensive coordinator.

However, Allen leads the league for the most interceptions so far this season with 11 - that is one ahead of Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers and Mac Jones of the New England Patriots who have 10 each.

Buffalo has also 18 turnovers this season, with only the Cleveland Browns (19) having more after the first 10 weeks of the year. As a result of the form on offense, the Bills have opted for a change.

It remains to be seen whether or not the Bills will seek a permanent replacement for Dorsey as the team's offensive coordinator, or if Brady will keep the role long-term. The Bills have seven regular season games remaining this year to try and secure a playoff spot.

Buffalo welcomes AFC East divisional rivals the New York Jets to Bills Stadium on Sunday in Week 11. That will be followed by two back-to-back road games against fellow Super Bowl contenders the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs either side of a bye week.
