Phillip Schofield's wife 'loves him' as they prepare to reunite at Christmas
Phillip Schofield could be set for a full family reunion this Christmas with his wife and two daughters.
The former presenter who earlier this year announced he was stepping down from all work came under fire after it emerged he'd had an affair with a younger male colleague. Phillip, 61, admitted while the affair was "unwise" it was not "illegal". His wife Stephanie Lowe and two daughters were said to have stood by him during the time.
But although he came out as gay in 2020, Phillip and Stephanie are still married to one another after tying the knot 30 years ago. At the time of coming out, he explained that the couple had no plans of divorcing as he had a "wonderful marriage" and an "incredibly supportive wife".

"Even if the love they shared in the beginning of their marriage is different to what it is now, the love is still very much there," a source told new magazine, before adding: "She's stuck by him through everything, while others deserted him."
They went on to say: "Steph is, and always will be, Phillip's support system, she hasn't divorced him because she doesn't want to see him fall any further. It's telling that they will spend Christmas together again as a family. He is the father of her daughters, after all, and the girls love him dearly."

But despite Stephanie being supportive of Phillip, he admitted to being unfaithful to her, which left her "very, very angry." He told The Sun newspaper of how he told her about the affair: "She got off a plane and I phoned her up and texted, saying, 'I need to talk to you.'
"She called back and I told her. She was very, very angry." Phillip added that he was "so very, very sorry," for his actions. Meanwhile, a source told Women's Own: "While Phil and Steph are no longer together in the traditional sense, there's still a lot of love between them. Phil spends a lot of time with his family, which includes Steph, so it's natural that they'd spend the big day together.
Although she has not commented on the scandal surrounding her husband, they are said to have a strong friendship. She also stood by him when his brother, Timothy, was sentenced to 12 years behind bars for sexual offences involving a child.
