Does I'm A Celebrity star Jamie Lynn Spears still speak to sister Britney?
Jamie Lynn Spears is gearing up for a hotly anticipated, action-packed stint on ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The Zoey 101 actress is joining a star-studded list of already confirmed contestants, including Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson, This Morning's Josie Gibson and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, ahead of the new series launch on November 19.
Here The Mirror takes a look inside Jamie Lynn's tumultuous relationship with her world-famous older sibling Britney. Do the pair still get on? What was said in the past? And what exactly caused the sisters' rift in the first place?

Britney and Jamie Lynn first publicly butted heads all the way back in 2017, while the Toxic hitmaker remained in her controversial conservatorship. While the incident fell under the radar at the time, Britney brought it back to light on Instagram.
In a public post, Britney slammed Jamie Lynn for singing remixes to her hit songs at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards. She was fuming that her sibling seemingly didn't perform anything of her own, writing: "I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!!"

It came amid claims from Britney that her "whole family did nothing" to help her during her conservatorship in court in 2021, the same year Jamie Lynn announced she was releasing a book, sparking the sisters' second fallout.
I Must Confess
In October that year, Jamie Lynn was planning to release her tell-all memoir I Must Confess, something Britney was fuming about as she was fighting for her freedom. The book was later released on January 18 the next year, but with a big change.
Jamie Lynn landed in hot water with the book's title, as it was pointed out that it shared the lyrics with Britney's 1998 single, Baby One More Time. After the book's release, now titled Things I Should Have Said: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out, Britney threatened legal action.
"As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalising on it," Britney admitted after her conservatorship was finally finished. "She rushed out salacious stories about me, many of them hurtful and outrageous. I was really let down. Shouldn't sisters be able to confess their fear or vulnerability to each other without that later being used as evidence of instability?"
Britney has been vocal about the pair's relationship

Britney spilled more about the pair's relationship in her very own tell-all memoir released only last month, titled The Woman In Me. "Along with the rest of them, she kept acting like I was a threat in some way. This will sound crazy, but I'll say it again because it's the truth: I thought they were going to try to kill me."
The singer suggested her relationship with Jamie Lynn soured from a young age, writing: "It was clear that girl ruled the roost. Meanwhile, it was like I was a ghost child. I can remember walking into the room and feeling like no one even saw me. Jamie Lynn only saw the TV."
What about now?
Despite Britney's bombshells, and the pair's previous spats, including Britney branded Jamie Lynn a "total b***h" over her actions during the conservatorship, recent reports suggest the two are on pretty good terms. Britney publicly posted it was "nice" to see her sister in an Instagram upload, praising her sibling.
"It was nice to visit my sister on set last week !!! I've missed you guys so much," Britney wrote on social media in June earlier this summer. It is thought the visit came as Jamie Lynn shot the film sequel Zoey 102 earlier this year.
Despite their complicated history, Britney wishes "the absolute best" for Jamie Lynn and her family. "I'm working to feel more compassion than anger toward her and toward everyone who I feel has wronged me," she admits. "It's not easy."
It's thought Britney might even show her face during the friends and family segment of I'm A Celebrity this year as Jamie Lynn heads for the jungle alongside other famous faces. Speaking of her appearance, an insider told The Mirror: "Jamie Lynn has got decades of history and bad blood with Britney to rake over and has laid out her feelings pretty clearly in her own book. It will be interesting to hear her spill the beans about her life and her family and the controversial conservatorship - and to find out whether the sisters really do get along now - or not."

Jamie Lynn took the title role in teen sitcom Zoey 101 from 2005-2008, when she became pregnant aged 16 with her first daughter Maddie. She later split from her boyfriend but married Jamie Watson in 2014 and had a second daughter in 2018.
She currently has an ongoing role as Noreen Fitzgibbons in the Netflix romantic drama Sweet Magnolias. This year she has also thrown herself headlong into reality TV. In January she appeared in the Fox TV series Special Forces: World's Toughest Test - the American version of SAS: Who Dares Wins - where contestants participate in special forces training. She pulled out in the third episode saying she missed her children. Then, in September, she was among the line-up for the US edition of Strictly - Dancing with the Stars - but was voted off in the second week of the competition.
