Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan's real life from wife and kids to soap star cousin
Things are heating up over in Emmerdale following a steamy, yet scandalous kiss between villainous Caleb Milligan (William Ash) and Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), who of course also happens to be the wife of his nephew Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter). Furious that Caleb had once again implicated Nate in his crooked business affairs, Tracy marched over to Caleb's home to give him a piece of her mind - only for her anger to quickly give way to a shared passion.

Chadderton-born William prefers to keep his private life to himself and rarely shares personal updates on social media or in press interviews. It is understood however that the 46-year-old still resides in Greater Manchester with his wife and two children. Very little else is known about William's life away from Emmerdale, but he has previously opened up about his lifelong love of football.
During a 2012 interview with Inkpellet, William revealed: "My dad played a lot of football and played semi-professionally and that is what I wanted to do, be a footballer, until I was 16/17. [...] I think I was deluded that I could make it as a footballer when I look at it! I broke my leg playing football when I was 15 and couldn't play for a year so the acting took over."
Sporting ambitions crushed, William, who began acting at the age of eight through the council-run Oldham Theatre Workshop, set about making a name for himself as an actor, going on to bag roles in Where The Heart Is, Waterloo Road, and Doctor Who before joining Emmerdale.

Fans may recognise William's younger second cousin Peter Ash from rival soap Coronation Street, where he has played hot-tempered Paul Foreman since 2018, when he was introduced as the troubled twin brother of Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell). Peter, who has previously appeared in iconic ITV show Footballers' Wives, quickly won over long-time viewers, picking up the National Television Award for Best Newcomer back in 2020.
