Married At First Sight UK fans are freaked out after spotting something creepy in the background at Peggy’s house.

The latest episodes of the E4 show saw this year’s brides and grooms stay at each other’s real-life houses during homestays week, which allows them to see if their relationship would work for real in the outside world.

But when 32-year-old Peggy took husband Georges, 30, back to her massive Tudor style family home in Kent, where she still lives with her parents Pat and Jimmy, fans were gobsmacked at the bizarre thing they saw in her bedroom.

“One question....WFH is Peggy's house all about?” one posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. Spotting there was a half-naked mannequin in Peggy’s bedroom dressed in lingerie and a black wig, another asked: “What is that weird-ass scantily clad Mannequin in Peggy's room?!”

A third fan commented the mannequin appeared to look like Peggy, who used to have dark hair when she was younger and appeared on TV in an episode of Paddy McGuinness dating show Take Me Out. “Nice to see Peggy’s parents keep a mannequin to remind them of what she used to look like,” they wrote.

Sticking up for Peggy’s husband Georges – who was blasted on the show for squatting on camera in various different outfits when he does online gaming – a fourth fan said: “That’s weirder than the squatting!”

Hilariously, one X user even set up an account dedicated to Peggy’s mannequin which began posting comments overnight as one fan wrote: “Someone has created an account for Peggy’s mannequin and I’m dying #MAFSUK.”

Under the name ‘the Mannequin from MAFS UK’, they wrote: “Can someone please kidnap me from Peggy’s boring beige house??? MAFSUK.” Another update posted later said: “Still standing here in Peggy’s beige house, can someone take me to New Look? Got a job in their window, pays better than this x #MAFSUK.”

Another fan suggested Peggy’s mannequin should recouple with JJ from the show and wrote: “Hear me out #MAFS new couples: JJ and the mannequin in Peggy’s room – Georges and one of Laura’s mean girl friends – Laura and Peggy’s dad – Paul’s mum is the new expert.”

Fans were also shocked by Peggy’s parents strict rule for Georges when he stayed at their house. Shortly after arriving, they dropped the bombshell the married couple would not be sleeping in the same bed together under their roof.

Peggy’s mum said: “Go on, you can show Georges up to his room.” At first Georges thought it was a joke as Peggy asked: “Where’s he sleeping dad?” Her dad replied with a smirk: “On the sofa, that’s where he’s sleeping!”

As Peggy showed Georges her bedroom, she let him lie down on her mattress for a few seconds to see how comfortable it is. A bewildered Georges then asked: “Was your dad being serious about sleeping in a different room?”

Revealing it is anything but a joke, Peggy said: “Oh yeah. I’ll show you where your room is. I’ve never had a boy stay in my bed.” “Never?!” Georges exclaimed. “No, never in this house, no,” Peggy replied.

Georges held his hands up and said: “OK. His house, his rules.” But speaking to the camera later, he revealed his true feelings on the issue and said: “I never thought when we got to homestays I would be staying in a spare room – but I have to respect Jimmy [Peggy’s dad]. It’s his home, it’s his daughter and that’s fine. No other previous partner has ever stayed in Peggy’s room, so why should it be different for me?” Holding up his finger and pointing to his wedding ring, Georges fumed: “That’s why!"
