Emmerdale fans terrified for character as they rumble Christmas storyline

Emmerdale fans are concerned for one Dales resident after rumbling a huge Christmas storyline on the soap.

Yesterday, it was confirmed Dancing On Ice stars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean would be taking part in a very special scene this Christmas as one character gets down on one knee, but who that is is being kept under wraps for now. However, after a new photo was released of Torvill and Dean filming on location, fans are sure they've worked out who will be proposing this festive season – and it's already making them worried for one character.

A picture from filming, which sees Torvill and Dean posing with Emmerdale stars including Dominic Brunt (Paddy Kirk), James Chase (Tom King), Eden Taylor-Draper (Belle Dingle), Mark Charnock (Marlon Dingle), Roxy Shahidi (Leyla Harding) and Joe-Warren Plant (Jacob Gallagher), has left fans trying to work out who gets married.

"Belle and Tom?," one viewer suggested, whilst a second added: "Tom and Belle, it's the only two who aren't married." A third shared: "I feel like it's going to be belle and tom again!! But I want it to be Paddy and Mandy so bad #teammandyandpaddy." Some fans had even quipped it could be Marlon and Paddy getting engaged as they take their bromance to the next level, whilst one suggested Jacob and Victoria could get engaged as their romance continues to heat up.

Tom has already tried to propose to Belle but was rejected, but will he get down on one knee again later this year and hope the magic of Christmas – and the help of Torvill and Dean – will get her to say yes this time?

Fans have been left concerned for Belle in recent scenes as they noticed that Tom has been acting rather oddly recently, since the death of his mother, which happened offscreen last month. Whilst Belle tried to get him to book flights to support his family, Tom was more preoccupied with whether Belle was avoiding him. After the proposal rejection, he pushed her into a table, causing her to hit her head but a paranoid Tom expressed his worry that she would leave him.

Worried fans took to social media to air their concerns, writing: "I'm starting to wonder if Tom murdered his mum," as a second added: "Tom’s mum murdered maybe? Belle watch out you’re in trouble!" A third shared: "Tom has definitely murdered his mum ... why else would he be so shifty? Or maybe the lad who beat him up??"
