GMB's Susanna Reid drops huge I'm A Celebrity hint ahead of show launch

Susanna Reid has hinted she's heading for the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

The Good Morning Britain presenter chatted with co-host Ed Balls and entertainment presenter Richard Arnold about I'm A Celebrity kicking off in just a matter of days as they discussed who might be heading into the jungle. Rumours have included the likes of Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford, whilst The Mirror has revealed Jamie-Lynn Spears – the sister of Britney Spears – is heading into the jungle, with bosses hoping she'll dish the dirt on her famous sister.

During the chat, Susanna refused to confirm or deny she was on the show when her co-star suggested she had given her hair a trim to make it more low maintenance ahead of the show, which kicks off in just over a week's time after the start date was revealed earlier this week.

When pressed on whether she'd go on the show, Susanna remained tight-lipped and turned attention to other celebrities who were also linked to the series this year including Alex Beresford, who recently took part in Celebrity Race Across The World.

The Mirror revealed yesterday that Jamie-Lynn would be heading into the jungle, with Britney potentially heading down under to support her sister. One insider told us: "Jamie Lynn has got decades of history and bad blood with Britney to rake over and has laid out her feelings pretty clearly in her own book. It will be interesting to hear her spill the beans about her life and her family and the controversial conservatorship – and to find out whether the sisters really do get along now – or not."

Nigel Farage has said he's giving serious thought about joining the show, adding: "So I'm used to going through tough times and living with snakes of all different sizes. In previous years, I've just ruled out being on the show completely. This year, I’m in a conversation with them. They've sent me a contract. I’m going to have a real serious read of it.

"And look, I might do it. I might not, but I'm giving it very serious consideration. It is a massive programme, watched by a vast number of young people who care about their lives but aren't engaged in politics. I'm giving it real thought."

Elsewhere, JLS star Marvin Humes is meant to be heading to the jungle. "Marvin would be a brilliant signing. Not only is he known to fans of The X Factor and fans of JLS, but the audience for The Hit List and This Morning spans from kids right through older viewers. And with Rochelle's backing, he's got a ready-made fan base," an insider shared.
