Aldi fans in stitches over Kevin's cheeky 'willy' remark in new Christmas advert
Kevin the Carrot has made his long-awaited return in Aldi's whimsical Christmas advert, which sees the lovable vegetable visit William Conker's magical Christmas Factory.
The advert, which dropped on Monday, November 6, follows a similar storyline to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, as five lucky winners wait to visit the Magical Christmas Factory, where they eventually encounter all sorts of mischievous characters such as the Plumty-Dumptys.
And while Aldi fans loved the 'wholesome' and 'family orientated' advert - some viewers couldn't help spotting a couple of cheeky moments - and it's had them in stitches.
In one particularly funny moment, a plum was being lifted into the air by his underwear, and Kevin couldn't help but comment: "I can see his plum-crack!"

The suitably cheeky comments had Aldi fans in stitches this morning, with one person saying: "With the added normal Aldi humour of 'that's huge Willy' thrown in for good measure." Another said: "I can see his plum crack... that's huge willy... Aldi, explain lol."
A fourth said: "'I can see his plum-crack,'" followed by crying-while-laughing emojis. They continued: "Yet again, AldiUK You absolutely smashed it! Your Christmas ads are the highlight of my year I'm glad I didn't scroll past it."

They never fail to nail it and give a proper Christmas message, the polar opposite of Marks and Spencer with their terrible me, me, me Thismas. Knew we could count on Kevin, and my wife will be wanting a huge Willy under the tree to go with the collection."
Several others thought the advert was in stark contrast to M&S's Christmas advert, as the supermarket faced fierce backlash last week for their offering, which saw Christmas hats burning in a fire grate. The supermarket was forced to apologise after social media fans branded it "insensitive" and "disgusting" - as the hats were in the colours of the Palestinian flag.
The supermarket was also criticised for their message of encouraging shoppers to do what they want this Christmas, instead of bowing to the pressures of traditions. In the advert, celebs such as Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham throwing all her party hats and festive baubles into a wood-chipper.

On the flipside, it seems the feud between Aldi's Cuthbert the Caterpillar and M&S's Colin the Caterpillar has taken a backseat this year. Last year's Christmas advert was inspired by Home Alone, and saw Kevin the Carrot sitting at home watching a football match. Eagle-eyed viewers were able to spot the teams playing were CUTH and COL, with CUTH being ahead by a goal.
Instead, it seems the famous feud has quietened down for a more wholesome message. After being presented with the cheese to the factory, Kevin asks the wholesome question 'can I share my good fortune with everyone?'. The ad concludes with the charming closing message 'Seasonal goodwill was truly in the air as Christmas is a time that's sweeter when you share'.
Many others loved the message of the advert, with one person saying: "Absolute joy to watch (especially on a Monday morning first thing). Made me laugh so much I spat my cup of tea everywhere! Thank you for bringing sparkle and fun."
