Jennifer Aniston's hidden struggle at Matthew Perry's funeral as friends 'cried'
Jennifer Aniston "kept herself to herself" at Matthew Perry's funeral after "dreading" the day that she would learn of his death for more than two decades.
The Chandler Bing actor, 54, was found dead in his Los Angeles home. The beloved actor, who is most famed for his role in Friends, was found after he reportedly drowned in his hot tub, with his cause of death still unknown.
As well as his emotional parents in attendance at the funeral, Matthew's Friends co-stars were also in attendance at his farewell. Jennifer was seen with Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt Le Blanc. The group of pals even hugged as they consoled one another.

Jennifer supported Matthew through his addiction struggles, with the late actor even paying tribute to her in an interview last year ahead of his memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing coming out. In a clip from an interview with Diane Sawyer, Matthew touched on how his Friends co-stars supported him: "Jennifer, she says, 'We know you're drinking'," Diane said to the actor. Responding to Diane, Matthew replied: "Yeah, imagine how scary a moment that was."
He then went on to reveal: "She was the one that reached out the most. You know, I'm really grateful to her for that."
The Daily Mail reports that a friend of Jennifer's previously revealed: "It doesn't matter whether he died as a result of a freak accident or whether it was directly connected to his drug issues, this was a day that Jennifer has dreaded coming for 20 years. She always wanted to help Matthew any way she could – that was a constant for her."

The Chandler star was once addicted to Vicodin and in 1997 he completed a 28-day detox programme. He again entered rehab in February 2001 for addiction to Vicodin, methadone, amphetamines, and alcohol.
However, at the time of Matthew's, it was reported that no drugs were discovered at the scene and there was no indication of foul play. It was then later revealed that initial toxicology tests did not show any fentanyl or meth in Matthew's system at the time of death, with his cause of death still unknown.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner said on Sunday that an autopsy was completed with "toxicology results pending". And then following reports that a toxicology screening revealed fentanyl and meth were not found in his system Dr. Michael Baden, former chief medical examiner of New York City wondered why a cause of death had not yet been released.

The pair starred alongside each other for more than a decade (WireImage)Speaking to Fox News, Dr. Baden said: "If Matthew Perry had died of a heart attack, that would be immediately apparent, and they would have said so." He then noted that there must be "some reason they're holding up the rest of it", following the revelation of no fentanyl and meth in his system.
The doctor also said that because Matthew was found in a hot tub, it "raises issues immediately about drowning or even heat stroke". Adding that it is also "certainly possible that he could have died of natural causes, especially given his history of surgeries and medical emergencies".
