James Haskell slammed Chloe Madeley for not dressing ‘sexily’ before split

James Haskell accused Chloe Madeley of not dressing 'sexily enough' for him before the couple decided to separate.

The rugby star, 38, and daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, 36, announced they had decided to call time on their relationship this week after five years of marriage. However, prior to their split they filmed a reality show, in which James can be heard complaining about the mum-of-one's dress sense.

In an episode of ITVBe's Family Affair, the pair decide to go on a date night to crazy golf, after having words with each other. However, as Chloe, who gave birth to the couple's daughter, Bodhi, last year is getting ready, James says: "You always sit on a date and go 'does it upset you that I don't wear any makeup and never dress up?' It's more the fact you do something and you worry about it."

Chloe explained: "I feel bad because...' but James jumped in with: "Not bad enough to ever change it though." The Dancing On Ice star continued: "In my head we're leaving the house and I'm comfortable and I'm warm and that's all I care about. Then we get there and other girls, like Love Island-style girls walk in and I'm like oh s**t, poor James."

The former England rugby star said: "I never complain', which prompted Chloe to say: "I dress a bit s***ty, just not girly." James then quipped: "You always dress s***ty when I'm not there which is even worse."

After releasing a statement saying she and James had decided to call things a day, Chloe got dressed up to the nines on a night out with pal, Lou Teasdale. The personal trainer stunned in a black mini skirt, cut-out black top and knee-high cowboy boots posing in a red bathroom mirror selfie, as Lou gushed: "How cute are we".

Chloe's night out in London came after James was spotted planting a kiss on a woman's cheek. The former England rugby player was seen saying a fond farewell to the mystery lady following a his own celebrations in the capital. James was snapped hugging the woman, who then pushed the father of-one away, giggling.

Days earlier, James was spotted speaking to a mystery blonde woman on a night out at the celebrity hotspot, Chiltern Firehouse. The woman's identity was later revealed as high society PR Martine Bridge. Speaking about the photos of the pair to MailOnline, a source said: "James and Martine have known each other for years and mingle in the same social groups. They follow each other on Instagram, it seems likely they will stay connected, at least on social media."
