Ten Hag calls 'showdown talks' with Man Utd stars over 'divided' dressing room
Under-fire Erik ten Hag has called his squad in for showdown talks as he bids to kickstart Manchester United's season.
United have lost five of their opening 10 Premier League games, been dumped out of the Carabao Cup and lost both of their first two Champions League group matches for the first time in their history. That has led to the pressure piling up on the Dutchman.
He remains adamant he can turn things around though and has started by holding emergency talks with his players. There have been reports of a divided dressing room as their season went from bad to worse.
But according to The Sun, Ten Hag is now moving to bring their focus back on how to improve. The Dutchman is said to have 'ordered' his stars into one-on-one sessions to help mend the broken dressing room.
The United boss is looking to hear from his players about the issues they have with him, his staff, team-mates and training. Those talks were held over the course of Thursday and Friday, as the Red Devils prepare to face Fulham on Saturday.

Ten Hag is said to be desperate to save his job after his side registered United's worst start to a season for more than 60 years. He has been dealt what would appear to be a gentle run of games to do just that before the next international break.

A two week break follows that, with Ten Hag desperate to get his side back on track.
"They are positive. They want to put this right. We know the standards here and we have to match the standards every day. We have had two big setbacks and we will fight back. This dressing room is strong and this staff is strong and this manager is strong," he said fo his players.
"Remember the fight we showed against Brentford and that comeback. If there wasn't spirit in the dressing room or there aren't characters in the dressing room, you can't do this. I have a good squad. I am convinced of the players in the dressing room.
"These players we have seen last year. They can do a lot better but it is up to me to let them play better. I take the responsibility to let them play better and I will put everything in to get this done.
"We have a good squad and we constructed this squad and when players are available and returning from injury we will do better. I think in every game we must win. In every game we must put every effort in.
"I think the players are hard to beat but in this moment, obviously, then you lose two games we did not show it. I am convinced that in the long term these players will be hard to beat and they know how to do it."
