MAFS UK's JJ sends grovelling apology to wife Bianca after issues with Ella
Married At First Sight UK star Bianca Petronzi has revealed that JJ Slater – who was her husband on the E4 show before their marriage came to an abrupt end – has reached out to her with a grovelling apology in recent weeks.
Bianca, 29, joined the experiment in the hopes of finding love and meeting the man of her dreams but, unfortunately for the blonde bombshell, JJ proved that he had wandering eyes, and instead of making an effort to build a connection with his wife, he started up a new romance with Ella Morgan behind Bianca's back.
Hair extension specialist Bianca was coupled up with JJ but their marriage was far from smooth sailing from the start as JJ admitted he didn't find her physically attractive – despite asking to be paired with someone different than his usual type. Meanwhile, Ella and JJ had been flirting behind the scenes, despite being married to other people. Things took a turn for the worst when Ella's husband Nathanial decided to confront the pair about their flirting in front of the whole group in a heated dinner party episode – where Bianca finally let loose and confronted JJ for his 'cowardly' actions.
Bianca has revealed that JJ sent her an apology after the episode aired (Channel 4)A huge row erupted as Ella tried to defend her actions, with Bianca defiantly telling the bride that she was not in fact a 'girl's girl'. Sadly, Bianca's time on the show came to an abrupt end, but JJ and Ella were allowed back into the experiment as a couple, which Bianca says she found 'difficult' to comprehend and has since decided not to watch the rest of the series – despite the fact her name is continuously brought up.
After leaving the experiment and garnering support from Married At First Sight fans far and wide, Bianca has now revealed that JJ has reached out to her despite re-joining the show with Ella. Speaking to the Mirror, the blonde beauty revealed that although she felt like never speaking to JJ again after his actions towards her, he sent her a grovelling apology after watching back the intense episodes of their marriage breakdown.

"I have heard from JJ. He sent me a message apologising after I left the show. But my commitment to watching the show after I left has fallen off. I'm trying my best to tune in to support my girls – Erica and Adrienne – but I know my name is still being brought up," she said.
When asked if she would consider giving JJ another chance if he were prove his feelings for her, Bianca said that under no circumstances would she ever become involved with him again. She said: "That's a hard no from me. I think when dealing with a man like that, when you see the red flags straight away, girl, you need to run. It's more important to look after your mental health, because situations like that can make you doubt your self-worth and self-love – and that was the case.
"These men think they have all the power, but I have learned a lesson from this and won't be making a mistake like that again."
Opening up about her relationship with JJ behind closed doors and when the cameras were off, Bianca revealed that their conversations were quite 'dry' with no fun injected into them. Instead, Bianca admitted she was the one asking all the questions, as she claims JJ never made an effort to truly get to know her as a person.
"I think I know about 95% of everything about JJ, because I was constantly trying to make conversation and get to know him. But sadly, he only knows about 5% of my life because he never bothered to ask me anything. When the cameras were off it was fine, we had fun sometimes and we were able to have a bit of a laugh. He spoke a lot about how much he loved American Idol and Trap music, but I don't think he knows any of my interests because he just never asked," Bianca shared.
Bianca has revealed that she would never consider getting back with JJ after his 'cowardly actions' (channel 4)Following her commitment ceremony speech, where she told JJ that he 'only thinks with his d***', Bianca received widespread support from avid MAFS fans. Despite having to leave the experiment earlier than expected, the hairstylist is happy with how she came across on camera – but did feel like she was portrayed sometimes as a 'little desperate'.
"I came on the show to find love, and I think that was shown in my edit. I do think that sometimes I was made to look a little bit desperate when I wasn't actually, but I did genuinely go on the show to find love but it obviously wasn't meant to be with JJ," she added.
While her time in the experiment ended in heartbreak, Bianca is still rooting for some of the couples in the experiment and is tuning in briefly – although she finds it hard to watch JJ and Ella together – to support her pals Erica Roberts and Adrienne Naylor.
