Emmerdale fans 'rumble' second death after worrying scene amid whodunnit

Emmerdale fans are convinced they have figured out a second death in the village after a worrying scene on Monday night's episode amid the explosive Dingle whodunnit.

During the latest episode, Lydia Dingle interrogated her family after her rapist Craig Reed was found dead in a field. This week, in special episodes of betrayal and secrets, the Dingle family take centre stage at a lock-in at the Woolpack as Lydia, who was raped by Craig, questions her family's whereabouts on the night of Craig's death.

On Monday's episode, viewers learnt Sam, Cain and Belle's alibis with all of them insisting they are innocent. Later this week, viewers will hear Charity, Nate, Vinny, Mandy, Caleb, Chas, Marlon and Aaron's alibis. However, during Belle's alibi, which was told in a flashback, it aired a very worrying Tom scene.

During the flashback, it was revealed that Tom had proposed to Belle, who gently turned down his proposal as it felt too soon and she pointed out it felt bad timing with everything going on with Lydia.

However, Tom didn't take the news well and as Belle reassured him she wasn't "saying no", he attempted to storm out. Belle tried to stop Tom from leaving but he violently pushed Belle, shouting "Leave me alone" as Belle hit her head on the table, leaving the scared character bleeding.

Tom was quick to apologise, insisting he would never do it again and he'd never want to hurt her, begging for another chance to which Belle insisted it was "okay", saying: "I've already forgotten it". As she told her family her alibi, Belle worryingly left out all of these details, pretending that Tom took her proposal rejection well and that it had made them closer.

Soap watchers have now predicted that Tom could be killed in another upcoming twist if the Dingles were to know the truth about Belle. Taking to social media, one person said: "Tom gonna be the next one dead? #Emmerdale", a different account put: "We're gonna have the same whodunnit this time next year when one of Dingles kills Tom for abusing Belle #Emmerdale", while another viewer wrote: "Tom needs to be very careful if Cain or Aaron hear what you’ve done to Belle you will end up like Craig #Emmerdale."
