Mum has people in stitches with brazen message to teacher after son complaint

Often, if your child has been naughty at school, you'll just have to take it on the chin and think about the ways you're going to bring it up to them later and any punishment you might have to enforce.

But one parent has left people in stitches after she shared a series of messages she received from her son's teacher - and the cheeky message she hilariously responded with. Food writer Jenny Mollen, 44, shared a look at the conversation she had with the teacher, about her son, in a series of Instagram photos. At the time the mum, who is married to American Pie actor Jason Biggs, was on a trip to Copenhagen.

While she was away, it seems the parent enjoyed some rather traditional Danish food at culinary restaurant legend, Noma, a three-starred Michelin restaurant. And one of the dishes available on the menu is reindeer penis ragout.

Her son had obviously heard her discussing this, as the teacher's issue with the boy was his choice of language in the classroom. The teacher, known only as Karen, emailed Jenny to say that her son was discussing what she'd been up to, and he had said she'd been eating "tons of penis."

The hilarious email read: "Dear Ms. Biggs, today in school your son shared with his classmates that you are in Copenhagen on an adult trip and have been eating (pardon my language) 'tons of penis'. While I hate to bother you on your vacation, I felt strongly that you should be aware and perhaps address the issue at your earliest convenience."

But Mollen's response was utterly hilarious and likely unexpected. She replied: "Dear Karen, He's not lying. I have been eating tons of penis on this trip. Def gonna need to reign it in when I get home. Thank you so much for checking in on me. See you at drop off!" Alongside the email she attached a photo of the menu from the restaurant, to illustrate her point.

When the mum shared the exchange on Instagram, people said they were laughing out loud. One wrote: "This is the content we need in this terrifying world. Thank you." Another said: "Fabulous exchange. I laughed out loud." "I wish someone was there to film her face when she read that response", someone joked.
